Expired Brain

on the 1st of March i headed off to Trinity with one other girl Laura from my class.

we were given the great chance at taking part in physics week. how do i describe the expirince?….. AMAZING!

if i could relive it, i would withen a heartbeat!

quite large group were all the TY’s of the ‘type program’ duing the hilary term.

• WHAT WENT ON

we were divided into groups, th teams distingushed by colour;black, white, blue, yellow, green, purple.

i was in the black team, the 6 of us were further divided into 2 groups of three, and we were given a project each.

my trio recieved a project on Neutrinos-(product of radioactive decay-they are used fo research, have three ‘flavours’ and >50 trillian of them pass through your body every second.

——Between researching periods, we recieved lectures. Each lecturer was unique in both what they were teaching and there manner. We covered every aspect in physics; from astrophysics to medical physics, and nano technology.

We were given a tour of the machinery-maly the satelites and huge microscopes-used in astro physics, and onthe last day we toured the ‘love lab’

It is hard to explain what we expirienced during the week, because it is more then i ever would have expected! i most definatly will be attempinf to ge back there in the future. I would recommened to anyone to go to Trinity, as it gave me the best expirience in every aspect, and i met people that i will never forget!
